I work with children who may be:
- Experiencing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties
- Struggling to engage with education
- Neurodiverse learners who find school challenging
- At risk of suspension or exclusion
- Unable to access mainstream education
I am particularly passionate about working with the “square pegs” – children who may not fit the system but have unique strengths and need the right support to shine.
I build a relationship with each child and their adults, working towards shared goals. These might be based around attendance at school, encouraging trust in the adults or nurturing curiosity. If children are Home Educated and find traditional tutoring has not suited them, I can work in away that makes them feel relaxed and then follow their interests, rather than a set curriculum.
